Fire Horse Release
A small breath of fire for your morning
Good morning, and welcome to the new year, the year of the Fire Horse. I have to be honest, fire signs have always scared me…. but this one has a bit of an important charge to it. It feels like momentum, energy and proliferation. Stepping into this new year has felt like an arrival for me. So many projects are coming to fruition and manifestations from years ago beginning to materialize. And with this theme I present to you the first release of my new album YY by Yimes -Evening Creek:
Evening Creek is a track that is dear to my heart. Working with director Joe Kolean we envisioned a dichotomy between two worlds and brought that to life by each shooting footage in our respective locations. He in California and me in Michigan.
Reflecting the nature of YIMES - Andrew being base in San Francisco and me in Detroit. The video is a breathe of life and nature, playing with time, evolution and spirit. There are themes of the four elements, the spirit world and the majesty of life.
The track itself was produced by Andrew Taetz and myself with a huge cast of amazing performers:
Strings Arranged by Michael Kropf
Performed by :
Vanessa Cronan Wolf - Vocals
John Wood - Drums
Yali Rivlin - Tenor Saxophone
Jeffrey Niemeier - Violin
Justine Preston - Viola
Michael Kropf - Violin, Piano, Wurlitzer

Andrew Taetz - Vocals
John Hanson - Guitar, Piano, Banjo, Bass, Vocals
